How can I get DAoC working with Symantec Desktop Firewall?

When first loading up DAoC it will ask for permission for the file patch.bin. Click on "configure a rule for the future." Next select the "always permit this network communication" option. Next select the "Only this service: port 1280" option. Next select the "Address: patch.daoc.net" option. Next, leave the rule name "patch.bin" and leave all the other settings at their default. Click on finish. Next it will ask for permission for login.dll. Click on "configure rule for the future". Now click on "always permit this network communication." Next click on "Only this service: port 10501". Next click on "Address: 208.254.16.20". Let everything else be at the default setting, and click Finish. The last thing it will ask permission for will be the "game.dll". Click on "configure rule for the future". Next click on "Always permit this network communication." Next click on "Only this service: port 32944". Next click on "Address: 208.254.16.53". Let everything else be at the default setting, and click Finish.

Please note, you may get a black screen which may require a reboot to fully complete the task. Also note these settings are for the "medium security level". Ports are subject to change depending on the server you connect to.
